Hi! :)

I'm interested in making things and selling on etsy. I just wanted to ask about any good and bad experiences some of you have had selling on etsy.

I came up with a name and a logo, and i'm very excited. :)

The NorEaster kept me home from work on Monday, so I started a new bag. I'm lucky enough to be able to spend plenty of my summer at the shore... It's bigger than I was expecting, but it's perfect for the beach, it will hold my towel, iPod, book, blanket, ect. :)
It was my first project with pleats/pin tucks/ect. More involved than any other project I've done...but I'm really pleased with it.

I just joined the community and I'm already in love! Since I'm a grad student that works wayyyy too much I don't have any new crafts to share, but I love seeing all the cool stuff you guys make. But just to share, here's a mosaic table I made last year. It was my FIRST mosaic project ever. I know, kinda ambitious for a table to be the first project, but I can't believe how beautifully it turned out. I call it my "break-up" table since I started/finished it the week after this guy broke up with me. I tell you- smashing tiles is an AWESOME way to channel all that negative energy into something beautiful. All in all the mosaic part took me about 24 hours + the time to paint the wrought iron portion of the table.

x-posted to Craftster...
I don't post here because school sucks up most of my timeee!
My mom was really cool and used part of a dress she had made for me 2 years ago to make this new one.

Thanks for reading! :)

Done!  I finished my cheap-ass gift for my little brother's 17th birthday.  He loves ATHF, so I'm hoping that will make up for the fact that I just made dollies for an adolescent boy...

For Frylock's fries, I just wrapped some fat smoothie straws I had with yarn, and Shake's straw is a super fuzzy pipe cleaner (because the smoothie straws didn't bend, you see).

Thanks for looking!

I work at Jo-Ann Fabrics as an education coordinator and my knitting teacher totally quit on me. two days before my calendar is due to be submitted.

so... finding a new one is out of the question. I can knit... and purl... and that's about it. Knitting I should be fine but knitting II is "stitched sampler" where the students pick 5 stitches to learn. I THINK I can learn five stitches before June (but one of them is a cable stitch so that'll take some time).

to all of you experienced knitters out there... do you think faking this will be possible?

second, to all of you not very knitters... would you rather learn different stitches or learn to make something other than a scarf or a blanket? I personally think knitting II is lacking in some desired knowledge.

My friend Jenny wants a Chicken Little doll, so I felted one for her... But without the glasses...

As if he's screaming, "Where are my glasses?" XD

I used green wire but they are too thin so they don't form nice T-T So instead of Chicken Little, I'll call it Little Chicken... >3> heehee. I hope she'll like him!

My daughter just had her birthday party.  (Woo, I don't remember 9-year-olds being THAT catty when I was their age!)  She wanted a cat-shaped cake.  We're on A Budget, so buying it isn't really an option.

SO.
