I dont kow what I was thinking, but i accidently painted some clay projects -before- baking them - has anyone else ever done that? I'm wondering if i bake paint, if its going to give off toxic fumes or something terrible like catch on fire or god knows what!

IRONING FELT?

I bought some felt to make a big, flat project but it's creased. Does anyone know - can you iron felt (under a damp cloth?)? I don't have an iron which I can use to just spray steam onto it. And I don't have a lot ot practise with. Will it mark?

Thanks!!!

took about a week and a half, and at least 12 balls of yarn. it's not terribly big, so I might add on later. used a wave pattern in double crochet with a J hook.

Couple of questions...

I'm not a huge crafter, made a couple of bags in my time but that's about it. I want to be more crafty and try new things. So I have a couple of questions.

First, I've heard you can (sort of) screen print using freezer paper. Only thing is I don't know where to buy this in the UK. Or if it even exists in the
UK

And second, how difficult is it to sew a zip into fabric, say when making a bag, by hand? I don't have a sewing machine and can't really afford one.

Please help :)

Hey guys! I rarely post in here anymore, and I'm sorry for the text only, but I have a question for all of you-

How do you go about starting to do craft fairs? Like...set up a booth and sell things. I've been looking into a few, but all of them seem to be for professionals. I'm just a crafty college student looking to make some extra money and have fun. Any tips or ideas? I live in Northern VA if that helps.

Thanks so much!!
