While doing some spring cleaning I ran across a box of old textbooks from my days of biochemistry. I keep thinking there must be some wonderful crafty thing I could do with these, but am at a loss for ideas. =[ Any thoughts?

I've been thinking about switching to a different journal and making it the 'craft only' one....but I can't make the HTML work like in this old-school style one :S (I'm 21 and behind in technologies apparently..lol)

SO I'm posting some pictures from this journal...some are kinda large!

All things made from polymer clay, paper, beads, washers...you know, my usual :) )

Here's a pic of one of the purses I made in the same fabric as the travel bags I posted a few days ago along with a reversable tote bag I made for a friend.

Does anyone know how to label spice jars (the little glass kind) in a way that won't wash off?

I suppose I could use glass etching liquid, but that would take forever since there are about 20 of them to do.

Any help would be extra appreciated. Thanks!

I was talking with my friend about finals which are (yikes!) next week, and we thought it would be neat if we wore punked-out (for lack of a better phrase) uniform shirts, at our school the guys always rip each other's shirts on the last day, so I figured this could be the girls way of celebrating the end of the school year.

Our only problem is that we can't come up with any good ideas as to what we should do with them. Wearing these things for years has somehow put us in a creative rut now when we want to rip these up (and I've been tempted to for quite a while now).

Included under the cut are some pics of the shirt I will be using, I would appreciate any ideas anybody is willing too throw out there.

I just posted my pattern for a crocheted Cthulhu to my journal. It's slightly different to the first one I made, but I still think he's pretty nifty.

Go forth and enjoy! I'd love to see photos of any Cthulhus you guys make from my pattern, it was a challenge and a delight to write it.

At the beginning of the month, I made a picnic blanket. The picnic said blanket was made for was a doomed picnic. When I was finishing up things the day before, my sewing machine messed up and made the finishing up last a looooot longer than it should have. The day of the picnic, it rained. On the way to the picnic spot, our brakes went out, and we collided with the car of this scary woman who we believe was on meth.

Needless to say, I never got use my blanket or take any fun pictures of it. It's a really good blanket, though, so I decided to take fun pictures of it today on the front lawn with the dog.

Onward! )

That's all. ^_^
