los angeles needlepoint exasperation!!!!

hey kids, i'm new here. i'm located in the k-town, country club park area, and i am a needlepoint whore. i'm looking for a store where i can replenish my crafty supplies that ISN'T 15,000 MILES AWAY IN A SUBURB. i love michael's, but i really don't want to drive all the way down to the nearest one in inglewood for a few loops of string. anyone got any ideas?

the DMC (embroidery floss) website listed a shop nearby called "natalie needlepoint," but they didn't list a number and i can't find evidence of it's existence anywhere on the web.

I am looking for a pattern for boot covers. Does anyone have one? These are made from like funky fur i think and they are awesome, but the costume isnt really worth the 40-50$ just for the boot covers :-/

Duct Tape Form

This is the duct tape form. I did end up getting it caught under the soft part of my arm, and it BRUISED it. I was so surprised and man did it hurt!
My friend Rochelle is such a good sport! I love her! She is the one that wrapped me all up. It took about 45 minutes from start to finish. I am quite impressed with this, and it worked well for me considering I am such an odd shape!
