I'm so so so pleased with the way he came out. Now I want to make even bigger and more complex things. I'm definitely feeling more confident in my sewing :)

I'm planning on making my boyfriend the NES DS plastic canvas case that can be found here:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=127932.0

The project calls for size 8 mesh plastic canvas. I have looked EVERYWHERE for 8! All I can find in the craft stores here are 7 and 14. I googled a million places and none have mesh 8. I even checked ebay-- no 8s! I know there's also a pattern for the 7 mesh, but I really like the look of the 8 a whole lot better. Does anyone know where I can find the 8?

Thank you for your help!

Hi! Me and a friend have been experimenting with a heat press she has. We were just looking for some feedback on some of the things we've finished.

HI everyone! I am already getting ready for Christmas and New Year! And I am making a holiday greeting card. Just need some advice on what should I add that it would not look overloaded :-) Thank You!

I'm quite happy how this one turned out. It was such a sunny day, and so quiet in my office I quickly painted up some papers, impatiently waited for them to dry, and tried out four new transparencies. Unfortunately I did two at a time, and the wind took them, another one wasn't dry enough, and so, this is the ONLY one to turn out- but I'm very happy with it.

As some of you who liked my headbands suggested, I've now made barrettes using the same vintage plastic flowers :-) I've got some new measuring tape pencil cases too!

Also, I've made this pen holder using old floppy disks, following this tutorial (with a few adaptations of my own):

Art-o-licious 1" Pin-Back Button or Magnet

A friend asked me to make some buttons for her like the ones from the 70s--with the smiley face that say have a nice day. One thing lead to another, and I went on a button making spree.

Here are more of them. )
