So drawings = crafting?
Well IDK, I find it is slightly crafty especially when you can't find a paintbrush and you have to make your own.
LOL so here is a peep into some of my sketchbook art.

Here are some necklace I've made in the past weeks. The first one is a fabric covered medallion with vintage baubles attached. The second one is made from a recycled poker chip and a college of new and vintage flowers beads, with a pretty little faux-rhinestone in the middle.

You can click the pictures to see the larger sizes.

I really want to sit down and make more but I've been feeling really under the weather lately and just not up to it.

My clockwork eyeball (version 1) is finished, for those who were interested.  The Flickr set is here, and the video of him in action is here.

So I've spent most of my day on the computer, oogling handspun yarns on many different websites. I've decided that this is something that I could most definitely do.

What I'm wondering is, for those of you who spin your own yarn, is it a good idea for a beginning to start with a drop spindle, or should I save up for a spinning wheel? Also, if you have some sort of inside knowledge about spinning wheels, which do you recommend? Any tips that anyone can give me about spinning would also be MUCHLY appreciated.

Thanks for any replies; I really do appreciate all the help!

I finished this last night. I don't know if it technically falls under craft, but I was hoping nobody would mind :3

Our store is setting it's 'Holiday' trim on Monday. And I, being the store visual, am in charge of it all. Lucky me.

So to counter-act all the 'Christmas decorations already?!' and 'It's not even Thanksgiving!' comments that I'm sure to hear, I made a bracelet to help me get in the Christmas spirit.

I've used acrylic paint + textile medium for screenprinting shirts with good results, but the same doesn't work well for paper prints.

Is screenprinting ink a lot better for paper?
(I would assume so, but hate wasting money on supplies I don't need)

I recently got a pair of white chucks (with the intended purpose of me decorating them) and I'm trying to figure out the best way to draw on them: paint markers, sharpies, fabric markers? Got any suggestions? I'm going to want my designs to be a bit detailed, and I want the designs to last. Thanks in advance!

Also, the beginning of my new spice "rack":
