crafts for dads?

Does anyone have any craft ideas for their dad for christmas? Can I see images/examples? I have no good ideas for my dad. My mom buys him clothes, he likes golf but I always buy him stuff related to that and I don't want to anymore. I live far away so would like to make something special when I do visit but am stumped.

Happy Turkey Day Weekend Everyone!!!

I've been a busy bee...working hard on bags for an upcoming craft fair and have run into a slight snag. My 4 inch scissors suck!!! I have a pair of fiscars and a pair of cheepy Walmart scissors. I'm thinking of asking DH for a really nice pair of 4 inch scissors. Any recommendations?

I made a pledge this summer that I was only going to give and receive handmade gifts from now on ( because i am disgusted, as im sure many of you are, at how Christmas has become a consumer crazy holiday and depresses me). Anywhooo, my two best friends birthday are only days apart and I went to Michaels and picked up some supplies and made these two things for them!.

Ok, so there is this new toy out where they supply you with these stuffed animal 'corpses' if you will, and you stuff them yourself, etc. I think my daughter will LOVE this, but I was thinking, I could make the 'corpses' myself, AND it'll be made with the most important thing--LOVE. So, any BASIC, free, easy, (they will be hand sewn) stuffed animal/doll patterns?

hellebelle requested pictures of the Play Clay ornaments, sadly there is only one survivor. The date on the back is 1994 so he lasted quite a while and through 5 moves and storage in some very humid areas. I guess I'll be making some more this year.

hey crafty chicks.
I knew this was the right place to come for some super help and ideas, so hopefully your noodles can help me since mine isnt working.

basically... december 9th is my 4 year anniversary w/ the boyfriend. we started out going really all out for them and buying eachother lots of things but over the years we have toned it down a lot. and well... the fact that i cant afford much these days doesnt help, so Im hoping you guys can give me some great ideas for what to make/do for it. I have been really uninspired lately, so much so that i havent hardly been crafting which really bugs me a lot.

Im hoping for ideas that dont consist of the generic mix cd/tape thing cause Ive given him a lot of those. I think its getting boring. Im pretty sure he didnt even listen to the last one i made him. :-\

also, I suck at sewing and knitting so thats outta the question. haha.
