Lately I've been really getting into polymer clay.
I bought a big box of it in flesh colour, which I guess is for making dolls, but I've been mostly making pendants instead, and then painting them pretty.

They're fishtail pendants. Up close the colouring is blue and green, but the flash kind of makes it hard to see.
What do you think? Which shape do you like better?

My smallest dolls yet. They are about 2" tall each.

I've been a mad hatter this week.

Cocktail Hats: Small, frivolous, brimless hats worn towards the forehead.

My cocktail hats are made from a base of hand cut and formed lightweight buckram and slightly curved to contour to the head. Each features an attached clip and front loops for hair pins.

NOTE: Hats are modeled on a hair stylist manequin which is slightly smaller than a normal head.

Does anyone have any experience with this machine:http://snipurl.com/20haq

I am looking for a small 2nd machine when mine is in the shop or when others come over to sew.

And so this isn't text/query only, check out the costumes I made for a recent play my husband directed: http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d32/akeen02037/Tony%20and%20cleo/

Thanks!
