Hey all! This is [livejournal.com profile] demoi_pourvous, the girl who aims to do at least one craft a day. I finally took another member's (I forgot who, but whoever you were, thank you!) suggestion and made a separate journal for this "mission" of mine :D This will be my craft diary if you will and the other will be turned into, well, just a plain personal diary.

Please add me if you feel like it. This journal is a little lonely ;D I'll slowly be moving all my of my posts to this journal.

Anyway, on to the creations! )

I'm cheap, rather than buying fleece to sew on my pants for embellishment can I use craft felt? Will it hold up in the washing machine? Will it Shrink? Anything else I need to know about it?

my 3 best friends are all having babies in the next few months. I'd like to make something special for their little ones. I can sew and do other basic crafts and have access to fabric and craft stores galore. It also needs to be something that won't take more than 2 months! Also any suggestion on creative ways to wrap or package items together? What's the most creative gift you've given/received or saw at a baby shower? Thanks for any help you can give me!

ok, so i grew up in the 80's and other than the occasional joke attire and side pony tail - i could do without them. but why is it that i can only think of 80's inspired crafts when it comes to recycling tons and tons of worn out jeans? jean skirts, jean purses, etc.

this is where you come in and intervene in my bad crafting. what should i DO WITH ALL THESE JEANS?? at least 8 pairs that aren't worth repairing in one part or another.

help me!!! you gals are the most creative bunch, and i know you can think of something awesome to do with them. doesn't have to be clothing, can be anything! thanks in advance.

love.

I am a young adult services technician at a small public library and as such, I've managed to pick up a few "adopted" kids over the years. It's both sad and gratifying to see "my" kids grow up and graduate. One of the gifts I offer those that I get close to are senior pictures and graduation announcements made by me. I just got through making 60 announcements for this year's recipient, my co-worker & best friend's son, Jesse. This is the first year I actually took the photos myself and I was rather proud of how they turned out!

Presenting the class of 2008! )

P.S. I wanted to share the happy news with all of you -- I'm getting a 1" button maker for my birthday this month! w00t!!!
