I made the S-links and large square pendants watching CNN and MNBC the night Obama clinched and the smaller gem links two days later when Charles Rangle et al laid the smackdown on Hillary.

So, for my nephew's 7th birthday, I thought I'd paint him a picture...

Something he'd really love. I asked him for his favorite pokemon, and he said it was... Grotle.. (Apparently it evolves from a cute little guy named Turtwig.)

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted here!

Behold! The Grotle! )

For all of you who make your friends' presents for birthdays and Christmas...and then deliver them three months late...this is what I got from my sister for my birthday:
first bank of penguin

Good plan...as long as you make your excuses cute, people don't mind getting their presents late.

Hello *waves*

I've been watching this community for a few days and loved what I've seen so far so I thought I should make a post!

I come with a question, though D:
So, there is this concert I'm going to in 11 days (OMG yay!) and some of the fans are doing this little project.
We want to decorate fans. You know, the fans you can wave with your hand.
I've been looking for a plain white one the past week but I didn't really have lots uf success so far.
So I got the idea of making one myself!
I've found a tutorial how to remove and replace the paper of a paper fan, but it pretty much confused me to no end and I didn't like the result of it.
So I'd like to ask if someone of you super duper creative people out there has an idea how I could make myself a hand fan?
I want to use fabric instead of paper, so it won't die in the middle of the concert and then decorate it a bit :3
I'd be thankful to no end if someone could help me out and I'd make sure to post pictures of it when I'm done!
*puppy eyes*

And to not make this a text-only (and an I-need-heeeelp) post,
here's a picture of my (not yet completely finished) panda hat that I'm sewing at the moment!
The nose and a small border around the bottom of it is still missing, but you can guess how it's supposed to look like in the end XD
I know that my sewing skills aren't the best, but my excuse is that I'm only 18 years old and that it's a funky concert so... :P

Brokeneck Mounted.

Because I made while I was home with my neck broke and I mounted them there black thingamabobs inside the fluer-de-Frenchies.

Well, it's not broken as in fractured vertebrea broken, broken like I pulled a muscle in it and would very much like a head sling.

I'm not sure why, but all of a sudden I want to have some gmone beads. Beads that look like little gnomes. Anyone know where I can find something like that? I checked ebay and saw some cute gnome jewelry, but not much in the way of beads.

Thanks for any ideas!

I kinda procrastinated making this, because I finished it about an hour ago and I graduate tomorrow (senioritis much?)
Anyway, here is my grad dress.
The purpley part is a sheer flowery fabric from a friend of the family and I think they were supposed to be drapes. The bodice was just some random satiny offwhite stuff that I found. The bottom is made of two layers of circle goodness (yay for using geometry!).

Long time lurker, rare poster here. :)

Me being the super-geeky girl I am, got bored one weekend and decided to make some silly charms for my DS and various other purposes. Here's a swinub and behind the cut are dangos and starfish which is a running gag from the anime series, Clannad. :D
