Shell Hearts

Hi, I'm busy working on Christmas gifts as I will be busy around the holidays. My daughter brought me a bag of shells from the beach which inspired me to create these heart shaped containers for her. She loves to go to the beach, so I thought she'd like these. The smaller ones nestle into the large box:




I used mastic for the first time ever to secure the shells on the large box-I love this stuff, it's so creamy and the shells just took to the stuff like it was sand. I can't wait to work with this mastic some more, it's great stuff.

Hi!

I make about 100 + pieces of jewelery and I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for places to buy boxes (necklace size) that are not too expensive. I don't need anything fancy. I usually make/assemble my own but I'm sooooooooooo tired of it. Thanks in advance!

I had done this hand cast and handpainted mask a little white ago but it needed more and I had let it sit while I pondered what it needed and I finally decided on hair and finished her. Her hair is made of different yarns and fibers with some silk leaves tied in it

It's a cute rag-fur pillow for my little sister's birthday. She'll be turning 8.
I haven't sewed since i was about 9 (im 16 now, haha) so this was a fun and easy project!
