We've created felt 2008 I Voted ribbons for the big day. Because all ballots were created equal (well, this time, hopefully): mail-in, absentee, and polling stations alike! Who should be denied a sticker for voting from home anyway? No one! Its Unamerican!

We' dropped them off at various coffee shops and stores around Seattle (Ballard) for people to pick up today for free.  If you are in the Seattle area please go to our lj page to find out the listing of locations (not sure how stringent the "advertising" and "selling" rules are on craftgrrl).

Get out there Suffragettes and Suffragents and vote!

Update!
Thanks to a great suggestion by critical thinker [profile] haptotrope  you can download a black and white printable ribbon here, if you please!

[insert political Socialist joke here]

Thankee!

Ok, I'm a total dork.
I know. My friends know it. You craftgrrl's might as well know it too.

I just got back from my local polling place (GO VOTE VOTE VOTE!) and I decided that I wanted to turn my "I voted" sticker into something that would last a while.

So I made it into a pin )
