I forgot my ink pads were on the radiator (in a box) and they melted a bit :( so I'm looking to replace them...but what should I buy?

Here are some likely options for me, which sound the best?

What are the differences between pigment ink, Queue Pigment Ink,Chalk ink, Queue Chalk Ink etc?

Colorbox Petal

Rubber Stampede (I think the cost is for one set-not for both that are in the picture

Colorbox Cat's Eye

The second one is actually the kind I have, that melted, and I assume that the price is for just one set, not both in the photo.

cross posting this to find answers...

I'm really wanting to do this to a few tops but I'm not sure how to.

Does anyone know how or have any pictorials that would help me figure it out?

I love cutting this plexi.  I just wish it wasn't so damn EXPENSIVE.  That being said, maybe I should save the plexi for more wintry things like snowmen and snowflakes and igloos.  I just thought a clear puzzle would be fun.  I have an etching set for my Dremmel.  I wonder what it would be like with designs etched in all the pieces...maybe words or just lines??  This is a work in progress.

I made up this paddle for a friend, it was the only one michaels had left so I had to buy it even though it had a chunk of wood missing. I think if I sand down the wood putty we used, and then paint it, it'll be ok since it's only the edge.

Some of you may remember I asked about douglas fir wood candle holders? Well here's two of them I completed a few weeks ago. Holes are not drilled yet.

hello again!

i recently posted a post with this image in it:

painting for rick

and it was deleted by a moderator as i posted a link to a page with another link to my shop on it.

so i wasn't able to thank everyone for the lovely comments i got, therefore hereby thank you! and to the person who asked what version of hallelujah you heard in the video; that was my version. :) you can download it for free off my website which you can find in my profile should you wish to do so.

keep on happy crafting. xoxo and thanks again!

hi craft grrls!

i've been checking out many soap making advice/recipe pages (including the community memories) but i'm still rather clueless about all the ingredients. (this may be due to english not being my first language so please forbear with me...)

i'm looking for an easy and cheap recipe that still has a pretty and fun outcome.

so i know i need glycerine, coloring, some scented oils maybe. but it's somehow hard for me to believe that that's all i need to make soaps!
however, i've read a lot about some lard / oils / fats also being used.
so i guess there's probably a whole lot of different recipes.

anyway, i'm really confused by now.
i'd really appreciate it if someone could just give me a recipe or a link to a recipe that clearly states what ingredients i need (and in what amounts) and what exactly to do.

please excuse this post even though there are quite a few things in the memories on this! i just didn't get it! :(

I totally plagerized this puzzle idea from  a friend's LJ, but I thought it was cute and would be good practice for me and my scroll saw.

I should be doing other things, but its so nice to do something ELSE for a change.  I'm crochet out.

These are so so cute I just have to share them here! (:
Making a couple of them as necklaces and the rest to sell off as handphone keychains.
Clay is so wonderful!

Hi crafters! I've read on here about people screenprinting using an embroidery hoop and some kind of netting to make the screens.

Where would someone buy embroidery hoops like that? Do they only come in circles or are they available in other shapes as well? And what kind of netting should be used? Do you use like tulle from a fabric store?

I was talking about it with a friend, and now she wants to get me the supplies for Christmas, but neither of us have any idea where to go or what kind of netting to get.

Thanks in advance for any help!
