Hey Grrls... I don't know if anybody actually uses those "color bar" graphics in their user profiles and such, anymore, but... I just came across a photo I took a long time ago, of some of my creative bits and bobs. (I keep several containers full of shiny objects, odds and ends to rummage through when I need inspiration. ^_^)

Anyway, here's the pic:

Btw? The cute pineapple doodad was later used in a snazzy pair of earrings!:

Color Tinting Embroidery

I just have a quick question for all of those out there who have used the crayon method for coloring before you embroider. Are crayons really the best thing to use or can you use other stuff? For example, I have a large set of the Prismacolor colored pencils and I was wondering if those would work as well or if I should just go buy me some Crayola.
I'm already thinking of the holidays next year, so this would be for gifts. Any tips from someone who's done this before would be great.
