Painting & Glass

quick question!
Does anyone know if painting with acryllics and some gel medium works well on glass, particularly frosted glass? I'm considering a small project involving painting a design on a round, glass vase, and wanted to know if I could use my acryllics+medium or if I need to go buy some specific glass paint (I really prefer not to, given that I am on a small budget!).
any suggestions/advice are always appreciated! :-)
thanks crftgrrls!

I love the idea of recycling because it develop your creative imagination =))
But this idea require improvement and in the meantime you can express your personal opinion about this necklace =) It will be very appreciated! =)

Have any of you ever done anything with glasses/sunglasses frames? I've got several pairs of REALLY CUTE frames, but somewhere along the line the actual lenses were broken (dog chewed one, kid smashed another, etc.). Any ideas on what to do with these? I'd like them to be wearable in some way, but just about anything is better than letting them sit useless in a drawer. I don't suppose there's a way to put lenses in them or some place you can buy those, is there?
craft fairs

Hello crafty people! I have been trying to find craft fairs in my area (I live south of Boston, so anything in Mass is ok) and am just at a loss. I know I can find the random church fair in the newspaper, but I'm looking for larger fairs with higher end items. Where do I find the info I'm looking for? Thanks in advance!
recent crafting - apron and scarf

Hi everyone.
Every Tuesday night my gf's meet up for Craft Group - lots of yummy food, gossip and crafting! I recently finished this apron for my bf and have moved onto one for myself.
( the apron )
And I also recently finished my first actual knitting project - a technicolour scarf! I am so terribly proud of it.

Edit: I think I've got it all fixed now!
Looking through Craftster, I came across this post by audio-astrophysics. Inspired and needing another way to stash bust the small pieces, I embarked to make my own version. This project was perfect because I need more practice appliquing and I had this grey American Apparel sweater than needed some lovin'. Hope you like it. :) ( Dun dun dun )
I can't wait for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince next week!!! Also, I have some other stash-busting projects on my journal, but this was the one I was most excited about so far.
