Yay! I got the draft version of my werewolf card game finished! I’m so proud! They are looking great, and I cannot wait to get them printed out onto nice card stock. As promised here is a sample of what they look like. The first pic is one of the special character sets. The second picture is the emblem that I designed to go on the back of each card blown up to show detail. The werewolf and simple villager appear in the emblem.

These pictures look a bit cruddy because they are screen captures of the pdf exported to jpg. They have thus lost a bit of their quality. But you get the general idea of how much fun they are. It’ll be cool to play this around a campfire this summer!

I finally started on a contact paper tree in our son's nursery. It's super fast and easy to do, and removable for when we move out of our apartment! I'm still looking for just the right contact paper pattern for the leaves.

I saw purses very similar to these at a mall booth for $50-$80 and thought hmmm... I bet I could make one of those. So I did!

I know the rules state not to link to any selling websites/journals/blogs/etc. I do not sell or trade anything on my blog so I think it'll be okay to tell you that you can see more of my crazy work at my craft blog: Crafty Bugger.

I decided I wanted to show this community how exactly I get away with the "button cluster" beauties I showed you in this post. Apologies for the mediocre/somewhat blurry photos in the tutorial, but hopefully I can explain the process well enough the tutorial can still be helpful.

Right this way! )

Has anyone out there done this? I want to make a dress form and would like to give this a try. Have people tried it? Good results? Scary results?

Let me know! And I'll keep you posted. Where did I put that duct tape?

I've been wondering for ages about how to get that soft, peachy, almost old fashioned look in photos... anyone willing to share the secret? Example below the cut.

Can anyone recommend a media which will allow me to draw/color on top of packing tape? Thanks!

Book CoverWhen I saw this book I just had to have it - but I admit, now, I'm wishing I'd checked it out from the library and given it a try first. Or, since it was the snake I really wanted to make, I probably just should have tried to wing it. But I'm still a newbie knitter, so I bought the book and followed the directions even though they looked a little off...

Can you tell me if I'm crazy or there's something wrong with the instructions? )
