Martha Stewart Craft Kits

If you have a Big Lots near you, look for the Martha Stewart craft kits. They are the same ones at Michael's, and they are all $2 (pretty funny since you can get a kit with one puppet for $2 or a set of 3 for $2. Go lazy pricing!).
I got 3 sets of three puppets, 2 sets of pipe cleaner animals, a set of three make it yourself frames, and a really nice mini scrapbook. They also had many card sets, other scrapbook and frame type things, flowers, pom-pom garlands, and felt hair doodahs.
If we ever get a rainy day again, we're all set for entertainment!

hey there!
i recently took apart 8 video tapes for a project and i have all the tape leftover. does anyone here want it? i'm thinking about people who crochet with video tape. otherwise i'm going to have to throw it away, which i hate to do if someone out there can put it to good use! it's free, you'd just have to cover the cost of shipping (for reference, i live in vancouver canada).

A Crochet Question

I believe a few of you here crochet, so I have a question to ask.

I'm currently searching scouring the internet for a free pattern for a warm, nice-looking wrap or shawl. My Google-fu sucks tonight. So I was wondering if any of you awesome craft-people had a suggestion for a good pattern that matches what I'm looking for?

Just to throw it in there, I'm a beginner-to-intermediate crocheter. :)
