I made something AWESOME, and I started with these three thrift store shirts (which cost me fifty cents, fifty cents and a buck fifty, respectively).

Da na na na na na na na BATMAN! )

I'm on the hunt for a red hoodie I can turn into a Flash shirt next.

Okay, one more thing with wings, and then I have a question maybe someone can help me with!

It involves suspending items in clear resin, in bottles )

Ok Here's the deal. I am an AmeriCorp Volunteer. I'm working at a living history park right now for a plowing event. They asked me to come in period costume tomorrow... which isn't a huge deal... I have most everything I need. The problem is... as you can see above... my hair isn't very period correct. I don't really have the sewing skill to make a cloth one, and I haven't the time or money to go buy one.

The good news is that I crochet, and will likely bring my crochet with me tomorrow so a crochet bonnet would be period correct and fairly easy for me to pull off tonight... as long as it isn't too complicated. So I am definitely searching for a Very simple to accomplish pattern.

The snag is that I can't really find ANY patterns online. I found one person selling hats on ebay that I liked... but I don't have any idea how to recreate it on my own. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250334249715&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=WVF%3F&GUID=7fa677e21260a0265347eaf7ffa78859&itemid=250334249715&ff4=263602_263622

Are there any recreators her that can help me? or Vintage Crochet enthusiasts? I need a pattern ASAP!

If ya'll can help... I'll post pictures from the farm as soon as possible

BTW I'm a dork and forgot to mention I'll be working in period clothing for 1850 to 1890. We are doing an even about horse drawn plows. here is a link to the park website

Also next week I will be work at the Battle of Olustee state park for the reenactment. So Civil War works really well and is multi use.
