What is this?!

OK firstly this is a synthetic fabric before anyone says angel hair tissue paper. It's about the weight of fine organza, but stiffer, its loosely crinkled (that doesn't show up in the pic) and it deforms and distresses brilliantly with a heat gun. It takes acrylic paints and various inks without problems. I love it BUT I bought it at a booth at a show and have no idea what its called or where to find it! Mainly I just want to know what to search for but bonus points if you can give me a UK supplier. Help appreciated!

Second pic is after painting, sprinkling with embossing powder and zapping with a heat gun (result placed on black felt). I'm starting to go with the tyvek theory but I've never come across it that weight before.

Hey ! i've never posted here before, but i've been lurking since the first spotlight. i'm an avid crafter, branching out all over the crafting world.

my best friend recently found out that she was going to be having a girl, who she has already named Aurora. as a pun on the nickname 'rorie', i painted this for her:

i used acrylics on MDF (which may just be my new favorite painting surface). You can't tell much from the picture, but there is gold glitter in the mane, tail, and name.

this was all done freehand so i'm a little unhappy with it. i feel the face and feet could have been better. but oh well !

let me know what you think !

I was feeling crafty and searching the web for inspiration I stumbled across for this amazing tutorial for Norwegian woven paper hearts.

Once you figured out the mechanism behind them (aka after your first heart ; ) ) they are not only easy to make but also very quick. You can fill the finished hearts with sweets or little (= light) presents and I can think of quite a lot of occasions where they could make nice little gifts
: )

Those are the three I made so far - they will be used as decoration, but I will make some more to give away for Christmas. I adore the "simple" paper hearts, but I am sure you can pimp them with glitter, stones, drawings....

Here's a pic! He's so cute! :)

He's definitely not perfect, but he was the first of many, so I'm happy with the result.
