Hello again! I just wanted to share my latest creation. This was a commission request for something naturey, but I think I like it enough to make another one for myself!
I made the bird nest with wrapped copper wire and turquoise crackled beads, and the necklace was made with a copper chain, wrapped copper wire, pearls, and iridescent glass beads.

I will be making corn pillows to microwave for a heat pack. I have cotton muslin for the interior cover which should microwave just fine. For the removable outer cover I have some cotton poly broadcloth which I think should be just fine. I'm wondering if material like polar fleece should be alright? And by off chance, not likely, but acrylic safety eyes. Any place with a crafters list of microwave safe fabric and items that my net searches are not turning up?

Have a crafty week:) Thanks in advance.

I'm a decent knitter and crocheter, and my friend just moved to the blustery north of Chicago and I'd like to knit/crochet her a hat, preferably with ear flaps!  (I'm guessing this is important, but I'm a native Floridian...)

Do you guys have any suggestions for places to look for patterns in particular? Thank you!!

(I made the the one in my icon a million years ago and lost the pattern, but ideally something along those lines!)
