 Hey,
So...I'm making this dress for my graduation, but I've left my handy dandy patternmaking book at home (eg. miles away), and I'm a bit rusty in this department these days, so a little help would be appreciated!

This is the pattern I'm working from:

This is what I'm trying to do (skirt portion only)

sorry if it's hard to see, I'm in a bit of a rush, but basically what's the easiest way to go about achieving that nice little drapey thingyamee on the right of the dress? I mean...the logical way would be to just extend the front and kinda wing it? I don't know...it seems ridiculously simple but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance!

HI all!  This is my first post here, and it's a question...or rather, a seeking of advice from those on here who are better at this sort of thing that i am.  Most of the craft like things I do are cross stitches, but I saw in this months Martha Stewart Living Magazine homemade snow globes and i thought that it would be a great things for my kids to make for grandparents and stuff for Christmas.

It's pretty easy, and I can get most of the things to make them cheep or free, I was just wondering about the glue that it calls for.  It says to use silicone glue for both sticking the figures to the lids of the jars and for gluing the jars closed.  I was wondering if it would be possible for me just to use like hot glue or something like that.  I wasn't sure if I needed to use that glue cause to would be the most water tight or what.  Any advice would be appreciated.

I never really liked anything of felt until I saw this dolls, and had to go do the workshop. Loved it! The one on the right it's supposed to be a fairy, and the other one , "Mary", mother of Jesus :P

More photos of the workshop, here.
