Last night I had Jenifer over at the apartment, and we crafted/sewed a couple items. One of the projects I finished last night was a rosette-style headband. I handsewed it out of a vintage scarf and lined the underside of it with burlap.

And a question for you lovely creative folks: what's the best stitch to use for closing up a plushie like my little owl-y friend up there? I just used a generic straight stitch, but it's very visible. Is there a more discrete option?
