Question about Mod Podge

I was recently thinking about a project that I think would be neat but I'm kind of at a loss when it comes to knowing if it'd be safe or not.  I was wanting to take candle holders and mod podge fabric or lace to the glass candle holders.  The only think keeping me from doing so is knowing whether or not it'd be safe and would last with the heat from a candle.  Anyone have any clues about this?  Anything that might work better than mod podge and is available at Walmart (only craft supplies I have that isn't over an hour away)?

30 day / 365 day projects / etc.

So... back when Inception was first released I ordered this awesome reproduction spinning top. A month ago I decided to partake in this "30 day, one object" group on flickr. My object would be my spinning top. I named it Richard. He was awesome.

I am kind of sad that his 30 days are up. As you can see there towards the middle I also started to do a 365 project, but that project doesn't require just one object...

I have already started my 2nd 30-day-one-object project with that little guy I needle felted:
day one, day two, day three

As you can tell, a lot of these shots are with my cell phone. So who wants to join me? :)
