I'd like to make a 3' diameter Christmas bulb to hang from the tree in our front yard this winter, but I'm really not sure how to go about it, and I'm hoping ya'll will have some good suggestions. I've tried Googling, but I'm not sure what terms to even use.

It needs to be light, sturdy, weatherproof and shiny. I thought of doing paper mache, but I don't think it would hold up to the elements. I know I can buy 3'and bigger beach balls to use as a form, but I don't want my ornament to look like a spray-painted beach ball...Help?

Thanks!

I have some dried pressed flowers from my wedding bouquet that I would like to preserve in resin. I'm moving back to Australia in three weeks and I can't take them back with me as they are. So... I really don't know where to start. Any tips or recommendations? I'm going to go to Michael's to buy the stuff I need. Do they sell kits? And do they include clear instructions for beginners?

Help!

Hoping to get this answered without having to register on other forums (since LJs bjd comms are dead)- is it possible to make BJDs ONLY out of sculpey/fimo/whatever? Do they HAVE to be cast in order to be strung up?

I know they need to be cast if you want to reproduce them, but say I just want to play around with the idea of maaaybe getting into this hobby so I want to make a few out of sculpey, bake them, drill them... assuming I can string them up this way (just bake some hard wire for the string to attach to inside each extreme joint, right?).
