Totebag question(s)
Oct. 27th, 2003 11:42 amOk, so I finally finished (more or less) the totebag I posted about earlier (having problems with the corners and such).
The images kind of suck because my digital camera is on loan and I'm making do with a web cam.
First, the outside of the tote. It's white with red handles, but the actual handles are wooden dowels that I stained a dark brown. Somewhat hard to see, but I think it's really cute.

The lining is a red and white plaid, with a tiny bit of green.

My problem now is this: the white looks so bare! I also bought these tiny ladybug appliques (6 total) and I was thinking about putting them along the bottom. The bag is for my girlfriends' mom, and apparently she likes cutesy things like that.

What do you think? Should I do the ladybugs? I also have some extra red and red/white plaid fabric...should I attempt a pocket instead? Another type of trim? Suggestions, please!
