im working on some fairy wings for my halloween costume. i know people ask about them all the time, but i couldnt find an answer to this.
after reading a post (earlier today, i think) i decided to use wire hangers as my frame. after a lot of work, i finally got them into the shape i want.
i planned on just putting stockings over the frame (which i was pretty sure i had read would work), but when i tried, the shape got all distorted and squished.
have any of you had this problem? what else might i be able to use for the rest of the wings?
theyre about... 2 ft x 2 ft each if you were to draw a square around them. not sure how else to explain the size.
please help!
