5 yards of dollar a yard iridescent taffeta from Wal-Mart, $2 worth of trim, about two bucks for a package of Styrofoam balls (for the eyes) and the rest I had on hand.

I think it was the cheapest costume I've ever made (not to mention the quickest!)

The head is stuffed with balloonsI accidentally sewed the back scales on upside down...She looks so forlorn; but, I SWEAR she's been wanting to play in this suit (and head) every night since I made it!Just to show you, she wasn't really as miserable as she looks in the last couple of pic's (the ninja behind her is her brother - another quick sewing project)
