I Wonder If This Would Work?

Do you think if i were to iron on or simply go by the instructions to put temporary tattoos, onto a tshirt or skirt or something.... if it would stay? I doubt it, but what if i were to put something like a clear acrylic paint over top of it to seal it on? Just wondering... would it work or should I just try it and tell everyone the results? Any other suggestions for how to seal it?
