i've been watching all the people here making duct tape wallets and checkbook covers and purses, etc...
and i teach middle school art so i see the kids carrying this stuff around all the time, too.

but today i saw the coolest duct tape thing ever...
i get a magazine called school arts which is an art education magazine. it has articles about art ed, lesson plans, visual aids, etc.

in the latest issue they had an article about a contest called "stuck at prom" sponsored by duck tape brand duct tape. they challenge high school students to create formal wear entirely out of duct tape! the resluts were phenomenal! i was floored! i was running around school today showing everybody and we were all just amazed! kids are incredible artists!

these are entire dresses and tuxedos and accessories made only out of TAPE! its so cool! this years winners even made wigs out of duct tape!
