modified knitty pattern

I really liked the poncho-shawl from last fall's knitty, so I modified it and made my own:

kindly ignore the fact that it is past noon and I'm in my jammies





I basically knit a rectangle 20 X 60 then folded it and sewed another side. Fringing was a b* though, and took a good 2 hours of my 'sick day'. I think the weird denim yarn looks really cute in this pattern.
