Dec. 8th, 2003 11:06 pmso an idea just seriously hit me. i have this friend, beth, who likes to crosstitch. so, i was thinking of making her like a beginners craft kit type deal with crosstitch patterns and such inside. maybe it is a stupid idea, but i think she may enjoy it. but, my question is. what all should i put in it? i kind of want it to be a crosstitch/getting crafty kind of basket deal. so, i was thinking, scissors, modge podge, hot glue gun (necessities!!!), and some crosstitch patterns. also, maybe i could find some little jewelry making kit type deal. do any of you have any other ideas? it would be extremely helpful. thanks in advance!
edit: this has nothing to do with my above thing. but, i just thought i would inform y'all of this great thing. my mother, who blatantly copied off my grandmother's christmas tree this year bought some ribbon to wrap around our christmas tree. she wanted a bow at the top. so, at ac moore she bought this thing called Bowdabra (completely hilarious name). it cost like 15 bucks, i believe. that is quite pricey, but totally worth it. anyways, my mother is obssessed with this thing and is making bows out of everything. there are very easy instructions that come along with it, and even an instructional video. and, if my mother can figure out directions (who cant even read a map to save her life), then it must be easy. anyways, i thought i would just let y'all know of this thing in case any of you were wanting to get into bow making.
