just a blurb
Dec. 9th, 2003 10:32 amI recently did a trade with one of the owners at Laffing Horse Farms (spindle in exchange for fiber) And I just wanted to let any spinners or fiber handlers know that their fiber is very nice! They sent me quite an assortment (2 raw Jacob fiber bumps, 3 first clip mohair in 2 colors, some charcoal sheep's wool & also a smidge of angora) They also sent me 2 small decorative cakes of 37% goat's milk soap which is wonderful :)
They just began doing this last year & the sheep & goats were brought in off the range so there's a little VM to pick through (looks like it's all bits of straw/hay/grass & not very much at that, certainly have seen worse on other raw fibers I've bought)
Anyway, I'm just a very happy camper with the buttery quality of their fibers & wanted to share them as a resource :) NAYY
