A friendly reminder

The Winter holidays are fast approaching and it seems this community is getting more traffic than ever. Everyone wants new ideas for personalized gifts and decorating tips, and so many awesome contributions are coming in. I hope that we can avoid a "last minute shopper" mentality (people being in such a rush they become a tad shortsighted) , with an excess of repeat posts, and crafters not consulting the FAQ for imformation about common ideas, links to other communities, and how to use the livejournal cut function. We all want to keep this community an easy to navigate, helpful and friendly. I hope at least someone found this post helpful, because that is it's intention. I know some people are afraid to ask questions (I was guilty of it myself when I first joined). So happy holidays to everyone on the board, and joyous crafting!
