Dec. 13th, 2003 12:33 pmI jsut tried to make one. There really isn't any need at all to heat it up.
All I did was use a metal straight edge to score one it and it broke cleanly. Then I just used a regular sized drill bit and the hole came out great. I cleaned up the sharp edges with some extremely fine sandpaper (like the kind that doesn't even look like sandpaper) and I'm assuming that you could jsut rub it on your jeans to smooth it out without making a mark like you do with sculpey.
I also tried making an AOL tin bulletin board and boy! did my paint job suck with spray paint! so i'm going to try some regular acrylics and if that still looks like hell, maybe decoupage it.
