craftgrrl | gift for someone I barely know?

We're doing that frickin "secret santa" thing at work, and I'm told we're not supposed to spend more than $5. Well, screw that. If I find something for her that I think she'll like and it costs me more than $5, so be it!

But, I don't have a clue what to give her! She's Russian, and doesn't speak a lot of English, so our conversations have been pretty limited. I don't know much about her at all. I know she had polio as a child and that she likes a certain brand of leave-in conditioner. Yeah. I need help.

The best part is that I was just told this morning that we're exchanging gifts TOMORROW. I thought we were doing it next Tuesday, so I was counting on the weekend. Now I'm pressed for time, and it's all snowy and pooey outside today so I'm not too keen on running all over town looking for a gift!
