hi! i'm heather. i'm new. and i am a crafty girl alright!...i sew a lot. i have this thing about making purses and bags. i design a new one almost every day. watch out vera bradley and kate spade! ;) and if i'm not making a purse, i'm usually quilting. or at the fabric store.

so, i searched the FAQ for something related to my question, but didn't find anything...it's a bit random, but i thought if i'd be able to find the answer anyplace, it would be here. alright my question: i have a pair of old, faded jeans, and i wanted to make them like the "dirty" yellowing kinda jeans that look vintage. i bought some denim blue rit dye, dyed them, and now they're pretty dark. does anyone know if they will come out "vintage" if i dye them yellow now? common sense tells me that they will probably end up green if i try that. if yellow dye isn't the right way to go about it, what is? well, short of taking them outside and dragging them thru mud. ;)
