Record Bowls

So tonight, while shopping for records at the thrift store I came across Oklahoma. Thinking I had scored as a great record for a record bowl, I pulled it out and it clear RED vinyl. I was even more excited.

Then I got home.

Ugh, have any of you had more trouble with clear coloured vinyl then just regular black? I have. Luckily it softened and I was able to attempt it again, and it turned out better the second time. But it has a tendency to curl in, and wasn't as flexible as the black ones.

Wondering if anyone else has had the same problemo?
