I had this glass bottle sitting on my dresser that I usually just wrap scrunchies around. I love the bottle and I just couldn't bring myself to throw it away, but I had to find a way to snazz it up a bit. So I did this.... (the images don't do justice to how cool it looks... everything looks better in person).

MATERIALS:
Empty Glass Bottle WITH top
Loose Glitter
Candle(s)
Hot Glue Gun
Water *enough to fill your bottle*

HOW TO:
1. Find a cool or plain bottle.

2. Clean out the bottle with soapy water. *inside and out*. Peel all labels and what not off.

3. Start melting a candle into the bottle... Tilt the bottle so it drips onto the INSIDES of the bottle. Fill the bottom up as well. Do whatever you want... make freaky drips or whatever. It's your bottle.

4. Give it enough time to cool down a little. Then slowly... VERY SLOWLY fill half of the bottle with water.

5. Carefully pour a TINY bit of loose glitter into the water.

6. Finish filling the bottle with water. Make sure you leave about about a half an inch of space between the top of the water and where the top of the bottle goes.

7. Melt more candle over top of the water to seal it into the bottle. Don't worry if it doesn't work to well. Just make a candle type "lid" over top of the water. Fill this to the rim of the bottle.

8. Use a knife or your fingernails (orwhatever you can find* to scrape all wax off the outside of the bottle. Away from the top and the area where the top screws on. You do not want ANY wax on the OUTSIDE of your bottle.

9. Put a little bit of hot glue on top of the wax AND on the inside of the top *around where it screws onto the bottle... no need to fill the lid... unless you wish to be covered in hot glue.

10. Screw on your top and there you have it. A really cool freaky looking display bottle!

You could use those tiny plastic confeti things as well as glitter and what not. You can use more than one color of glitter/candle wax. Colored glass bottles.

*NOTE* Make sure the lid to your bottle SCREWS on.
