Apothecary Jars.
Dec. 31st, 2003 01:45 amI'm moving soon. Undertaking a HUGE dorm-room decoration project. So far, the FAQs and my knowledge of simple sewing has got me covered... but I'd like yr advice on one thing:
Apothecary Jars.
I picked up several empty small and medium-sized jars of varying shapes and sizes at a place I got a gift-card for during the Christmas season. I've no idea what to fill them with. Most of them are small-mouthed and wouldn't be able to fit large stones or marbles (which I think is over-done anyway), and I also don't want to go with sand-art. My room's sort of going to have a far-East theme (tulle bed curtains, hanging lamps, silk throw-pillows, fabric-covered walls, etc.) so I'd love it if the jars ended up fitting in. They're just going to be sitting on a desk or dresser-top, I think... Anyway, I was just wondering what you guys would suggest?
