1 year gift

in march it will be 1 year for me and my beau. im making his gift since we are celebrating v-day and 1 year around the same time. i know that i am going to paint a wooden box and fill it with stuff but, what i want to fill it with is another question. this is what i have:
- book of frida kahlo cards
- maroon pen

i want to make -

- travel candle tin
- massage oil
- guitar strap
-journal
- candle (but not to go in the tin)

??? any other ideas or any info on how to make the above?????

any suggestions/how - tos woild be great.
