Knitting On Circulars [& That's It]

Here's a question for all you knitters out there. Is it possible to use circular needles and circular needles only to make a hat? I don't have/don't know how to utilize double pointed needles. Thank you muchly! Oh yes, & maybe a pattern that instructs how to finish it off, if this is in fact *possible*? Hopefully this wasn't too silly of a question.
