Simple poncho I made a while ago.

Poncho modelled on two pillows to fill it up.
It is big, the points are reaching down below my knees when wearing it.
The 'back' is identical to the 'front'.

Detail of the shoulder panels.
All freehand crochet. I made one then copied it the best I could to make 3 more. Each shoulder takes two panels.

Closeup of the pattern used on the main part of the poncho.

Side view. This one might not add so much but more to chow the construction of this variant of putting a poncho together. The sides are straight. There's just one point each at the front and the back.

In all it took me maybe 5 days to complete this poncho. The bit that took longest was copying the starting shoulder panels. The main bit of the poncho crochets up very fast.

This model is based on two rectangles sewn together where the shoulder panels are the starting point to each rectangle. Ummm... if that makes sense.

I hope you have enjoyed it, I know I do. It may be mostly holes, but still it's warm and this part of the world isn't right now.
