craftgrrl | Stupid question, not craft related

This post http://www.livejournal.com/community/crochet/551089.html directed another link to a catalog that features a lot of crocheted garments. Going through the link, it seems they are selling leggings. The same type of leggings that were pretty hip in the early - mid 90s after stirrup pants went out of style.

So many of you are so much more in touch with fashion than I am, I am curious as to the concensus of leggings.

Hip or not?

1.) Hell no, I wouldn't wear those again!

or

2.) Heck YEAH, break out the leggings I have a lot of cool long tops that I spent hours working on, I still have all my leggings from long ago!

I still have all my leggings and if they are coming back, I would love to break them out but if people think I am crazy, they will stay locked in a box for archeologists to uncover when we are all dead and gone.
