New to the LJ thing- but SO excited that I found this community- I've been DIY crazy the past couple weeks- finally figured out how to use my sewing machine- now I'm just trying to figure out how to sew!! So far so good a halter top- which I'll post. At least it'll give you pro-sewers a good laugh!! = ) I just re-did my bathtub...has anyone tried to do that before? It sucks...but it looks SO much better. You have to strip the old paint off with this highly highly toxic goo- then scrape that stuff till your arms feel like their gonna fall off- then mix this paint/glue for tiles & tubs that has to sit for an hour and paint that on- but the result was amazing...I guess I'll have to post those pics too! I was wondering though I wanted to change my grungy floor tile in my bathroom and lay astroturf over it. You can buy it in carpet stores for like $1.50 a sq ft so its cheap - but wasn't sure if it would work any suggestions? Thanks!
