Okay, I need your advice, if you will.

I'm team captain of the JV/F tennis team at my high school. We decided we'd all make shirts like the one below to wear on days before tournaments.

It reads "Love Means Nothing to a Tennis Player."

 We're planning to do it on black shirts with white letters except for "love" which will be in hot pink. We want our name/nickname on the back, as well. I have a couple of questions, though.

a) Should we use iron-ons or paint and stencils?

b) If iron-ons, where do you suppose I can find them the cheapest?

c) If paint, is it true you need almost a billion layers of white for it to show?
