craftgrrl | (no subject)

This is my first post of craftiness. It's nothing compared to what some of you post on here, but I'm still proud of it!
I found this really neat bag on clearance at K-mart. The only problem is that it was so blah. So I added some of my own touches.

I sewed a ribbon the strap, a flower on the cell phone pocket, and I took out the velcro on the inside of the cover flap and added some clips instead.

Close up of the clips. I loved the clips on my old bag, but I ran it to the ground and brought it back to life 3 times. Then it was just dead. So I bought some white strap and sewed the clips on the new bag. I had to hand sew most of the white strap becuase of pockets underneath. I also sewed the last bit of flower ribbon on a pocket strap. It looks crooked :/
