Has anyone ever attempted to recover their store-bought mannequin? I have a Dritz My Double, and I'd like to recover it in a flesh tone color. As far as I can tell, the fabric that's on there now was just stretched and folded over the sides, then glued on the inside of the form. Do you think I could just cover over the fabric that's on there and still have it fit properly, or should I try to remove the fabric before applying more? Suggestions would be appreciated.
