woodburning

Hi y'all...I've been lurking for awhile. But, now I have a question. I looked in the FAQ, but couldn't find anything...I may just have missed in, in which case, I apologize for the repetitive post.
The current plan for gift for my girlfriend is to woodburn a box (which I've done before). However, I'd like to line the box, preferably with fabric. Would y'all reccommend glue over tacks, or vice versa, or soemthing else entirely? And if glue, what kind would you suggest? Thanks!
