Feb. 4th, 2004 11:36 pmYou all know the drill - long time reader, first time poster.... I love this community for ideas and inspiration, for everything from marble magnets to knitting to refinishing furniture!

Plain ol' fleece blanket with felt stars embroidered on - gift for a friend's daughter.

Bag made of thrift store fabric - a whole bag of this flowery material in different colors that appeared to have been a set of table runners.

Another bag, with a flimsy scrap ribbon tie. Inner pockets for these bags done in contrasting flower fabric and sewn with contrasting thread in hopes of making them cuter, haha!

Yet another bag, a 'feesh' fabric bag with a felt fishie too that I just made today, because my 2 year old saw the fabric (also scrap pieces out of a thrift store grab bag) and said he needed it.
All the bags are pattern-less (kind of made to the size of whatevvr scrap of fabric I was using, lol) and are pretty floppy because they are made with no interfacing or anything. I swear, one of these days I will actually break down and buy 'real' fabric and supplies for a project.... :P
XOXO!
