Duct tape roses

I found mention of fake roses made out of duct tape in another community. Does anyone have any instructions for such a project? It sounds like this should be a relatively easy thing to do, and since my boyfriend is a craftsman, future shop teacher, and a big fan of duct tape, I thought he might be amused to get one for Valentine's Day.

I looked in the FAQ section under Valentine's gifts and under flowers, and did not find any mention of it. (maybe this can be added in there if I get any good leads?) Any help would be appreciated. :)

I apologize if this has come up recently, too... I know the seasonal gift questions can be a pain.
